（综合讯）美国娱媒“People”周刊证实，串流平台Hulu已确定不制拍Leonardo DiCaprio和导演Martin Scorsese共同监制，原本找大咖Keanu Reeves主演的剧集“The Devil in the White City”，但报道没透露取消拍摄的原因。Leonardo DiCaprio、Keanu Reeves合作破局 ，也让好莱坞王不见王再添一例！
“The Devil in the White City”是作家Erik Larson2003年出版的记实文学，叙述1893年芝加哥连环杀手的故事。当年盛传Tom Cruise斯就有意购得拍片版权，但2007年改由Paramount电影公司取得版权，之后在2010年又由Leonardo DiCaprio取得版权，由他主演、Martin Scorsese执导。
不料Leonardo DiCaprio后来演了同样出现连环杀手背景，Martin Scorsese执导的“Killers of the Flower Moon”，所以两人只担任“The Devil in the White City”的监制。在去年8月更宣布Keanu Reeves将演出这部电剧集，拟邀Todd Field执导。
怎料，Keanu Reeves日前就公开表示不演“The Devil in the White City”，但计划接下来10年将继续拍“John Wick”系列电影。
