战争历史电影“The Tragedy of Macbeth”由Joel Coen执导，Denzel Washington、Frances McDormand、Alex Hassell、Bertie Carvel及Kathryn Hunter主演。
电影以以Denzel Washington饰演的Macbeth为主线，他被3个女巫说服，认为自己注定要成为苏格兰国王。他和野心勃勃的妻子Lady Macbeth（Frances McDormand饰)一起，开始把预言变成现实，结果竟是大量的鲜血、背叛和死亡。
早前，“The Tragedy of Macbeth”被选做第59届纽约电影节的开幕片和伦敦电影节闭幕片，2021年12月，导演Joel Coen也凭这部电影获得美国国家评论协会奖“最佳改编剧本”。
“The Tragedy of Macbeth”1月12日于The Projector独家上映；1 月14日于Apple TV+上线。
